Ginny Ching-Yin Lo
Throughout my childhood and teenage years, dance was both my therapeutic joy and my inspired creativity. Inside the dance studio, I found my secret antidote to stress via dance's rigor, steps and even leaps into the air.
When I fulfilled my dream as a professional dancer, the success and glamor did not satisfy my deep craving for joy. Then, God found me, and the weight upon my shoulders was suddenly unloaded; I was uplifted.
Dance has become my mission, a place to celebrate God's love, and His unique plan for each of us. I now connect with others and create dance works for and with them to affirm their own identities. We share our lives (high or low, joy or sorrow, broken or victorious) during the creative process of dance in rehearsals and performances. I continue to find joy in seeing the transformation of all those whom I have worked with.
It is my passion and mission to serve others through dance. I am a wife, a mother, a choreographer, a dance teacher and a dancer, however, my most important role is innate within me since the day God found me, I am a child of God.
